The Management is aware of the social needs of the society and contributed for a wide spectrum of activities such as mentally impaired children, adult literacy, help to the village woman folk for acquiring literacy, partial self-employment, destitute children home etc.

In the line of education, a Commerce College in the name and style "K.C. Das Commerce College" has been founded and donated in Guwahati to fulfill the long felt need of the students of the N.E. Region, for study in Commerce Stream. At present about 2000 students are in the roll. For educating the girls in the interior rural area, a Girls High School in the name and style "Brindabati Das Girls High School" was also donated. Both the Institutions are serving the community to a great extent in the field of education in the developing society. These are the contribution of Er. Ramesh Chaudhury.

For such contribution in personal capacity as well as in recognition of Engineering works, Er. Ramesh Chaudhury, B.M.E., F.I.E.,C.E. (India) the Director of M/s. Mech Technik (India) Pvt. Ltd. was bestowed with several awards at the National Level viz

(b) National Unity Award for Excellence,
(c) Pride of India Award,
(d) Jewel of India,
(e) Er. Ramesh Chaudhury was also enrolled as a Chartered Engineer (India).
